In addition to learning about global climate change and what the National Aquarium is doing to help people gain an understanding of this complex issue, we had a chance to learn more about dolphins. We watched the dolphin show, and Kathleen was chosen as the volunteer who got to touch the dolphin and describe it to the audience!  Afterward we all enjoyed talking with the trainers. We learned about how the dolphins are trained, and also had our pictures taken with the dolphins in the background. Then we got to watch an enrichment session with another group of dolphins, and stayed long enough that the audience was arriving for the NEXT show! We spent the late afternoon exploring the aquarium, then headed out to dinner in small groups for a relaxing evening before our 7:15 am call to get on the bus and head to Mystic!
