National Aquarium in Baltimore

August 7, 2010

Treated to another great morning run along the water, followed by a day at the Aquarium. Nancy Hotchkiss gave the group an impressive overview of climate change interpretation ala NAIB, and shared some useful resources. After a morning in the classroom we went to see the dolphins. They did not disappoint, and Kathleen graciously served as the audience “volunteer.”

After the session the group met the dolphin trainers and watched some behavioral work. It’s hard to imagine people meeting the Aquarium’s dolphins and not thinking a bit more about protecting their wild cousins.
